Wonderful stay at ATKV Klein Kariba! My husband and I recently visited ATKV Klein Kariba and I have nothing but good things to say! The tent house was exactly as advertised – clean, tidy and private. It was very spacious, cool and even equipped with an ironing board and iron, as well as everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. The only 'problem' we encountered was the 15 steps we had to climb and carry our own heavy bags up the steps when we arrived on Friday, but help arrived when we booked out Sunday morning to carry them down. The beauty and tranquility of nature around us was so breathtaking and relaxing. To be awakened by the sound of the large variety of wild birds was amazing, no better music to wake one up. A large variety of wildlife was also seen on the property, on the ground as well as in the trees. A catalogue for the guests with the variety of the birds and the sounds they make would really be helpful because there were a number of birds' sounds that we did not recognise. The facilities all round were in brilliant and tip-top shape. Just a pity we didn't do the zip-line. We booked a hot stone back massage at Mafura Spa and the therapists were amazing. They didn't rush the massage and treated us with the utmost respect and like royalty. The restaurant and the waitresses were incredible: food was delicious and reasonably priced and the one minor encounter we had was resolved speedily and effectively. Will I go back? In a heartbeat.
