"Lochs Hoek about 4 kms away has a lovely atmosphere, a wedding venue and a petting farm for the kids. Good meals and are well organized during load shedding. The planetarium is only open on Saturdays despite what the website says and the restaurant inside the botanical gardens has closed too, but still a nice walk through the gardens. Plenty of other good places to eat at."

"Ek het slegs deurgereis op pad huistoe, maar wat ek van die stad self gesien het in die kort tydjie wat ek daar gery het is betreurenswaardig oor hoe vuil en sleg dit daar lyk. Paaie vol gate. Dit is ongelukkig die plaaslike regering se skuld en nie Bloemfontein se inwoners nie."
