Description
Tortoise Trail Lodge offers both room only and self-catering accommodation, and is located in the Long Acres Country Estate in Langebaan. The estate offers spectacular birdlife, and natural wildlife including steenbok, duiker, tortoise and Cape hare around the dam. The estate also has horses and a trout farm.
The lodge offers accommodation in 5 comfortably furnished standard room only rooms and 2 Self-catering Loft Unit. Each room has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. There is no private kitchen for room only rooms available. Each room is equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities, a TV with selected DStv channels, and a bar fridge.
The self-catering Loft Unit can accommodate 4 guests (2 adults and 2 children older than 12); the main area is furnished with a double bed and there are 2 single beds in the open loft area. The unit has a bathroom fitted with a shower. In addition, the unit has a kitchenette with a mini-oven with a 2-plate stove, a microwave, a bar fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and crockery and cutlery. There is a dining table with benches and a covered braai area outside.
The lodge offers a free Wi-Fi connection, a communal braai area, a splash pool, and an indoor fireplace. Tortoise Trail Lodge also offers safe parking on the premises and 24/7 surveillance camera's.
