Description

Experience the tranquillity of nature at Tlou Bushcamp, an off-grid campsite nestled on a farm within the Dinokeng Game Reserve. Located just outside the Big 5 Game area, the grounds provide a safe and peaceful environment free from predators. Enjoy the perfect blend of rustic charm and natural beauty, making it an ideal retreat for nature lovers and adventurers alike.

There are 10 standard camp stands with a communal ablution facility available. Limited power is available at the ablution facility for hair dryers and lights around the campsite. No electricity at the camp stands. Hot water is provided via a wood-burning boiler (donkey).

Guests can purchase essentials such as firewood, firelighters, and ice on-site for a comfortable camping experience. There is also a communal swimming pool in which to cool off.

Guests can explore the reserve with the option to book self-drive or guided game drives through nearby operators. A variety of activities in and around the Dinokeng Game Reserve ensures there's something for everyone—from wildlife encounters to scenic bush adventures. Conservation fees and self drive permits available online, at any one of the entrance gates or pay points throughout the reserve.
