House Rules
The cottages are not serviced daily, but linen and towels are changed weekly.
Due to the fire risk to the fynbos, braais and outdoor fires are not permitted.
The property is off-grid, and the solar system is limited to powering the fridge-freezer, lights, and plugs for charging phones and laptops. Additional appliances, including electric kettles, toasters, dishwashers, and microwaves, are not permitted.
There is no cellphone signal or Wifi on the property.
Guests may bring their own drinking water if they prefer not to use the supplied mountain or rainwater.
The weather in the mountains can be extreme and unpredictable. Guests should come prepared with suitable clothing.
Wild animals are present on the property and may be dangerous.
Feeding of wildlife is strictly prohibited.
Pets are not allowed on the property.
Smoking is not permitted inside the cottages and is only allowed in designated outdoor areas.
No loud music, motorbikes, or drones are allowed.
Only guests specified by name at the time of booking may occupy the unit.
Guests must take care of the unit and its contents. Any damage due to negligence, wilful damage, or irresponsible behaviour must be paid for.
The unit must be left clean and tidy at the end of the stay. A cleaning fee will be charged if the unit is left in an unacceptable condition.
