Comfortably furnished to accommodate 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children, the unit comprises 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a lounge. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. The rooms share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower and a toilet. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and guests can relax in the lounge which has a cosy fireplace. Meals are available on request at an additional cost. The house opens onto a covered stoep overlooking the surrounds, and braai facilities are available for guests to use.

Sionshoop has chickens, sheep, and a vegetable garden. Pets are not allowed in these areas.
There is a 48 km gravel road from Riversdale or a 39 km gravel road from Ladismith. The road is suitable for all vehicles except those with low ground clearance, such as sports cars.
Firewood is available at an additional cost per bag.
