House Rules

A South African ID or a valid passport is required at check-in.

Bookings of 8 nights or longer will include a mandatory mid-stay cleaning with fresh linen at an additional cost.

Advertised rates and minimum stay requirements vary seasonally. Rates are quoted per day.

A refundable breakage deposit is required, and an authorization hold will be placed on the guest’s credit card.

Pets are allowed by prior arrangement. Guests must bring their own pet bedding and clean up after their pets. Pet owners will be held liable for any damage caused by their pets in and around the property. All pets must be supervised at all times and may not be left unattended.

Sionshoop has chickens, sheep, and a vegetable garden. Pets are not allowed in these areas.

There is a 48 km gravel road from Riversdale or a 39 km gravel road from Ladismith. The road is suitable for all vehicles except those with low ground clearance, such as sports cars.

Firewood is available at an additional cost per bag.
