House Rules
Conservation Fees for the Reserve are not included in the accommodation amount. Guests are liable for these fees and they are payable online before arrival or at the Dinokeng Reserve Gate on arrival. Guests will pay per adult, per child, and vehicle.
No Music is allowed on the property. Please note you will be asked to vacate the property should you not adhere to this rule. Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 6 am.
No pets allowed.
Please bring mosquito or bug spray.
Use of swimming pool is at own risk. Please note that it may be slippery around the pool when wet.
Guided game drives can be facilitated for you at an additional cost.
Self-drive permits are available for purchase from the Dinokeng entrance gates.
No children under 3 years are allowed on guided game-drive vehicles.
Check-in time: 14h00 – 20h00 (unless otherwise arranged)
When on the self-drive route, all self-drive route regulations apply.
Please only make fires in the places provided, please do not leave the fire unattended.
Sharon Lodge is situated in a Big Five Game Reserve. You may not ride a bicycle or walk outside of the Sharon Lodge property. Please note that when you are on the self-drive route. You may not exit your vehicle unless it is at one of the marked picnic spots to do so.
All the facilities at Sharon Lodge are communal areas, and we are self-catering, so please ensure that you clean up after use.
Please note, that the accommodation is accessed via stairs, and may not be suitable for young children, the elderly, or guests with disabilities.
Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the accommodation. Guests are required to enquire from the establishment about the condition of the gravel road before booking.
All linen and bath towels are provided, however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
