Description
Makhato Lodge 108 is a charming self-catering home located in the Sondela Nature Reserve near Bela-Bela. Situated in the Waterberg region, this private game reserve is just 150 km from Johannesburg, offering the tranquillity of the bushveld, encounters with zebra, kudu, impala, and giraffe, as well as opportunities for birdwatching.
This air-conditioned property can accommodate up to 8 guests at a time and comprises 4 en-suite bedrooms, 1 of which is a cottage with a separate entrance and an outdoor shower. The first, second, and third bedrooms are each furnished with a queen-size bed, while the fourth bedroom contains 2 single beds. Each bedroom offers beautiful views of the bushveld. One of the bathrooms is fitted with both a bath and a shower, while the remaining bathrooms each have a shower. An outdoor shower is also available for added convenience. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The home features a well-equipped kitchen that includes a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery, and crockery. A fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer are available in the separate scullery. The lounge and dining area offer comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax, and also boasts a fireplace. For entertainment, a TV with DStv channels and access to free Wi-Fi are available.
The living area opens onto a patio with outdoor seating and a built-in braai. Additionally, a boma area with a firepit can be enjoyed. Guests are afforded secure on-site parking.
