We didn't stay! We did not stay! Arrived to closed gate just after 1. Check in from 11:00. After calling host number of times, contacting the website and hooting a lady came to gate. Said host was away, they were not told to expect anyone and the rooms had not been prepared. We were let in and then 2 men came from an adjacent staff house and said they would call the host. We were pressed for time. Eventually host called saying he didn't expect us so early. Looked at the rooms which were very basic and dusty. Unsecured rooms opening onto a verandah. Seemed quite unsafe. We left and informed host that we would stay elsewhere. He was very apologetic and offered us a 50% refund.
