House Rules
The beach accessible from the property features a pebbled, rocky shore and may not be ideal for swimming, except in one of the secluded rock pools.
Prior approval from the host is required before inviting additional guests.
Bookings from matriculants during Rage are not accepted.
Guests are asked to respect the privacy and tranquillity of other residents. As this is a peaceful lifestyle farm, noise should be kept to a minimum.
The inverter powers only the router and fridge. Emergency LED lights and candles are provided, but there will be no electricity or hot water during outages. The gas stove can still be used for boiling water, though water pressure may be affected.
Smoking is not permitted indoors and is only allowed outdoors, on the patio, or near the pool area.
Tap water is sourced from a borehole and is not suitable for drinking. Complimentary bottled water is provided until guests can purchase their own.
Water should be used sparingly, as the Western Cape is experiencing severe water restrictions.
Baboons are indigenous to the area. To prevent them from entering, food should not be left outside, and all windows and doors should be securely closed when unattended.
Wi-Fi connectivity may be inconsistent, especially during load-shedding, as it relies on the cell phone tower. The area does not have fibre infrastructure for a stable internet connection.
