Heerlik gerus in 'n kleindorpse atmosfeer. Dadelik tuis gevoel. Lieflike ou huis vol mooi herinneringe. As jy stil raak, oorspoel heimwee en nostalgie jou. 'n Stukkie van ons siele het daar om die tafel agtergebly. Skoon, netjies en alles wat nodig is, hondjies het glad nie gepla nie. Geen huis is sonder stof. Baie dankie vir julle gasvryheid. Easily recommend anyone to stay here. Peaceful surroundings, beautiful garden to walk around and lovely hosts. Loved hearing about the history of the house.

Goeie verblyf om te ontspan na 'n lang dag op die pad. Tuin Huis was 'n aangename verrassing na 'n lang dag op die pad. Alles is netjies en skoon en die historiese huis is baie interessant. Goeie beddens. Naby eetplek.

Eclectic. Location was close to the Hanover Hotel so we could walk to the restaurant. Communication was very good. This 167-year-old cottage is eclectic for the adventurous spirit. Very basic - good for a 1 night stay if you are looking for a halfway stop between JHB and Cape Town. The cottage was spacious.

For the price it was okay. The stay was just an overnight sleepover. Accommodation was okay. The bedroom with the two single beds needs upgrading. They were not the most comfortable for adults.

Interessant en uniek! Dit was een van die interessantste plekke waar ons nog tuisgegaan het. Dit is verblyf wat beslis vir liefhebbers van antieke ware en geskiedenis ideaal is. Die huis is in 1858 gebou! Die eienaars was vriendelik en behulpsaam.

Uncomfortable due to other dogs on the premises. A lovely old home with a beautiful big garden for our dog. We were not comfortable with the fact that there were other dogs on the premises. We specifically mentioned beforehand that we have a dog that has previous trauma from dog fights. Although we understand that the extreme heat is by no doing of the hosts, we would have loved to be able to open a bedroom window for fresh air. Sadly, the window was not able to open, resulting in an uncomfortable stay.

Lekker geslaap. Die huis is net baie vuil. Die gasheer is baie vriendelik en aangenaam. Die slaapkamers is skoon en gerieflik. So as jy net wil oorslaap, is die plek reg. Alles wat benodig word, is daar. Die res van die huis kort 'n behoorlike skoonmaak. Die oudhede is mooi wat ons van hou, maar is baie vuil en vol stof. 'n Voorstel is om al die ou kombuis toerusting te verwyder en die kaste skoon te maak. Daar is wel 'n kas bo in die kombuis met skoon eetgerei. 'n Voorstel sal wees om die prys 'n bietjie te verhoog en die plek mooi skoon te maak. Ons sal dan definitief weer dit oorweeg om daar te oornag.

Re above. Great rates, great potential but not quite there yet. Housekeeping leaves much to be desired.
