Compulsory additional fees:
Long stays (more than 1 night): Electricity is for the guest’s own account via a prepaid meter. Alternatively, the host can provide electricity units in advance with an EFT payment prior to check-in.
Optional extra fees:
Continental breakfast is available at an extra cost of R200 per person.
Tennis court floodlights (night use): R100 per hour. Basic tennis rackets available. (Tennis balls for hire: refundable deposit of R100 for three balls, or bring your own.)
Domestic maid service: Guests to arrange directly on-site.
Refundable damage deposits: Payable to the host after booking; must clear before check-in.
Payment methods: Additional fees must be paid after the booking payment is processed. No credit card machine is available on-site.
Preferred method: Bank transfer (must clear before check-in).
Alternative: Cash.
What to bring: All beds include bath towels. Guests must bring their own pool towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer. Mosquito repellent is highly recommended. Doom spray is available for patio use.
Pet policy (by request only): Please request approval from the host in advance.
Pet fee: R500 per pet per stay.
Please arrange with the host in advance. Breed restrictions: No aggressive or dangerous breeds, as there are two huskies on the property. The courtyard can be secured to separate different pet breeds (e.g., smaller dogs).
Corporate events: Please contact the host for an event brochure. No high school, matric, or college parties are allowed.
House rules and important notes:
Braai/fire policy: No fires or braais on the lawn; please use the designated braai stand near the pool.
Pool table/dining table: Do not move the dining table it is a combination pool table, and moving it may damage the legs.
Water and electricity conservation: Please switch off lights when not in use and store unused towels and pillows in the cupboard.
Property and security information: The owner resides in a separate suite at the far end of the property; guests have full privacy. Guests have 24/7 access to the property. Controlled access: Guests enter through the main driveway gate from the first access street. Once inside, a second driveway gate ensures pet safety. On-site pets: Two friendly, domesticated huskies live on the property.
