Iliwa Lodge @ Umtsalane Private Game Farm is a charming self-catering lodge built in the Kloof, nestled in the wild African bush within an isolated river valley near Jansenville, just a short drive from Port Elizabeth. This historic area, where Settlers and Khoi San tribes once met, is home to diverse plant and wildlife species that thrive at Umtsalane. Guests can experience breathtaking game drives, warm hospitality, and a truly unforgettable stay in this remarkable natural setting.

This lodge can accommodate 6 adults, 2 children, and 2 infants and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The first and second rooms are each furnished with 2 single beds, a cot, and a child-only mattress, while the third bedroom has 2 single beds. They share the use of 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and shower, and the other with just a shower.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and features a 6-seater dining table with chairs. It extends to the lounge furnished with comfy seating and a TV. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.

The unit extends to the patio with outdoor seating and features a built-in braai area. The trees and landscape create a calm atmosphere around the lodge.

After a day in the Noorsveld, guests can unwind by the pool or enjoy a drink on the viewing deck, overlooking a waterhole where wildlife gathers to drink. As the sun sets, the atmosphere shifts to the enchanting sounds of the African night, best enjoyed around a crackling log fire.
