Description
Cape Capsules Backpackers is an upmarket and safe accommodation option in Muizenberg, ideal for fun-loving young adults and overseas travelers. The backpackers is conveniently located across the road and over a dune from a long stretch of sandy beach.
The unique dormitory accommodation is offered in lockable Premier and Deluxe Capsules. Each capsule is equipped with its own plugs inside the pod, hypo-allergenic linen and pillows. Hairdryers and flat irons are available for the ladies. There are 8 capsules in total, with some being extra length and without lockers. Guests are encouraged to bring their own padlocks or can use those provided by the backpackers.
Guests have access to 2 communal bathrooms, each fitted with showers, toilets, and washbasins. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, and double-ply toilet paper are provided.
The communal kitchen facility is well-equipped with a microwave, air fryer, toasters, cooking utensils, cutlery, and crockery. A tea and coffee station is also available, along with an Honesty Bar for guests to use.
The backpackers feature a chill area on the top front deck with a table and chairs, yoga equipment and mats, and a small library for your convenience. There's also a back terrace with braai facilities, hammocks, and seating. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.
For emergency purchases, a small kiosk is available with items such as headache tablets, razors, toothbrushes, tampons, water, and soft drinks.
A House Breakfast is available during the week (excluding weekends and public holidays), and a laundry service is offered for an additional fee. Shuttle services and tour packages can be arranged on request.
