"Not so much the quiet, relaxed, family-friendly destination it used to be a few years back. But if you're into enjoying and meeting lots of people, getting dressed up for night life and sitting in traffic similar to Sandton, then Umhlanga is awesome! Depends on the type of holiday you are looking for. If you just want to relax, be quiet, read a book and enjoy the fresh air of the coast, then this might be a little too busy a destination."
