Sebastian was baie vriendelik. Het lekker gebly by Chanteclear. Ongelukkig kon ons weens 'n waterlek nie bly nie, maar hulle het vir ons alternatiewe verblyf gekry en dit alleen verdien 'n groot bonus.

Lekker privaat plekkie maar kan verbeter. Ons het lekker gebly, maar die DStv en Netflix was 'n bietjie van 'n teleurstelling. As DStv af is (a.g.v. die hoof decoder wat deur die huis afgesit is) en almal op die perseel spring op Netflix, is daar een TV (wat ons sin was) wat glad nie kon TV kyk nie. Die semi-kombuis is ook 'n teleurstelling, kon beter ingerig gewees het.

Disappointed. Formal Complaint and Request for Resolution – Disappointment with Accommodation at South 2 Sea Gonubie Dear Owner / the website Support, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction and frustration with my recent experience at South 2 Sea Gonubie Accommodation in East London. My family and I booked a weekend stay in hopes of enjoying a relaxing holiday, but unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected, and we are feeling extremely disappointed. Upon making our reservation, we were led to believe that we would have full access to all amenities, including the pool, as part of the accommodation's advertised benefits. However, upon arrival, we were informed by other guests that they had privately booked the entire apartment—including the pool area—and that we were no longer permitted to use it. This situation was not communicated to us in advance, and we feel both misled and unwelcomed. Our children were told by the other guests that they could swim temporarily, but this was not an acceptable solution. The entire reason we chose this property was for the amenities, and we now feel restricted and uncomfortable during what was meant to be a relaxing getaway. The lack of transparency and communication is deeply disappointing, especially considering that we made our booking in good faith. We are kindly requesting a refund or an alternative resolution, such as the ability to rebook at another accommodation that meets our expectations and where we can enjoy our holiday as originally planned. Furthermore, we urge you to review your terms and communication practices to ensure such misrepresentations do not occur in the future. As paying guests, we have the right to access all advertised amenities unless clearly stated otherwise, and this experience has left us feeling deceived and unfairly treated. Should a fair resolution not be offered, we will have no choice but to pursue legal avenues. In terms of South African law, the Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008 entitles consumers to accurate and complete information about goods and services—specifically, any limitations or restrictions (Section 29). Had we been properly informed at the time of booking, we may have made a different decision. We sincerely hope this issue can be resolved amicably and look forward to your prompt response.
