Overall, visit to SANParks Olifants Rest Camp was great, and enjoyed a much needed break. We were booked in unit 101, but upon arrival, the sewage drain next to the unit was overflowing and we requested another unit, which was provided. The unit is a bit run down and the heat exchangers for the hot water on the outside of the units are noisy, with intermittent rattles when the fans go on at night. We were 20 minutes early for check-in but had to wait until 14h00 to receive the keys although the cleaning lady advised us the room was ready.

Very good with sunset drive that I never saw even one of the big five. My stay was so good and comfortable. Nice warm water with shower. No tap and outside basin if you want to braai next to the house.
