Varingfontein Kamp is a peaceful off-the-grid campsite, surrounded by mountains, wildlife, and tranquillity, located 32 km outside Citrusdal. It offers a simple yet comfortable escape for adventurers and nature lovers.
The campsite accommodates up to 6 people and includes an organic toilet, a hot water shower, fresh fountain water, and solar-powered lights. A shaded roof with netting and a grassy area in front provide a relaxing space, while a scenic pathway leads to a rock pool for cooling off on warm days.
Guests can enjoy a variety of activities at Suikerbossie Guest Farm, including a slip 'n slide, hiking trails, guided tours, and tractor rides. There are also cycling, walking, driving, and 4x4 routes, as well as a tuckshop for essentials. Canoes and tubes are available for hire to explore the river.
