Aegean Unit 4 - The Lighthouse is a spacious, 6-bedroom self-catering holiday home located in a secure, gated complex directly across from Glenmore Beach in Munster, on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. The property offers easy access to the beach, making it an ideal choice for families and friends. Glenmore Beach, recently ranked as the 6th best beach in South Africa, has lifeguards on weekends and during the holiday season.
The double-story home accommodates up to 12 adults across 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and 5 toilets. Five of the bedrooms offer stunning sea views, with 3 being en-suite.
All rooms, as well as the lounge, dining room, and kitchen, are cooled with ceiling fans. Fresh linen and bath towels are provided. The fully equipped open-plan kitchen features a fridge-freezer, oven, air fryer, microwave, and a chest-deep freezer for extra storage. There is a second kitchen next to the downstairs bedroom, ideal for families with young children or elderly guests.
Guests have access to a spacious sea-facing patio, furnished with comfortable couches, a TV with DStv (guests have to bring their own card with them), and a large dining table. The covered patio is equipped with both a gas and Weber braai, alongside outdoor furniture. Additional amenities include a separate laundry area with a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. The property also features a large shared lawn, stunning ocean views, and direct beach access. Secure parking for 3 cars is available.
The property is located near local shops and restaurants, with the Wild Coast Casino just a 10-minute drive away. For family-friendly fun, Mac Banana is a popular spot with a petting zoo and renowned pancakes. Other nearby activities include horse riding on the beach, quad biking, hiking trails, and the Mpenjati Coffee House. Margate Airport is a 20-minute drive, with shuttle services also available to King Shaka Airport in Durban. Additional holiday homes are available on-site for larger groups. Special rates for smaller groups may be available during the off-season.
