Midlands gem with amazing views! Inversanda Farm Cottages was the perfect Midlands escape. The breathtaking views combined with a warm and welcoming atmosphere made our short stay unforgettable. We’ve found our go-to retreat in this beautiful part of South Africa. Highly recommended.

A delightful experience in a magical place that inspires and invigorates you. I loved the warmth and helpfulness of our hosts, Lucinda and her husband. Lucinda recommended a lovely eating spot, Tastebuds, plus a beautiful hike at Mount Park up Inhlosana mountain with spectacular views and a stunning contour path down. I enjoyed the spaciousness of the Barn cottage plus the artistic furnishing. We loved the stunning view of Inhlosane mountain with the rolling hills, very panoramic. We also really enjoyed sitting around the firepit with the view and then the stars. When it rained, we enjoyed our cosy fireplace. We appreciated the variety of birdlife awakening to a myriad of birdsong and frolicking calves in the field in front of us. There were a couple of glitches such as bats and maybe the maid, who is very nice, needs some monitoring regarding cleaning. However, these issues are being resolved. I can truly recommend this spot as the idyllic place to relax and be adventurous with hiking and delightful eating places nearby. We appreciated the abundant supply of wood and the WiFi. I would recommend a high clearance car for the farm road.

A true farm experience! Beautiful views and sunsets with all around farm sounds. Peaceful and quiet stay with beautiful views and rich animal life. The hosts were warm and friendly, and very helpful. Would love to return for a longer period of time to go on more walks in the area. It is quite isolated, so be aware that driving in and out every day to explore the Midlands might be a bit of a drag, especially in a normal or low profile sedan. No TV in our cottage, which we didn't mind at all, as we loved the fireplace and listening to the sounds at night. Good WiFi connection!
