Description
Corner House Family Retreat is a sunny self-catering holiday home situated in a quiet, safe neighbourhood of Kirstenhof that can accommodate 5 guests seeking a tranquil retreat.
The house features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, as well as a single daybed in the living area for the fifth person. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, while the second bedroom has a double bed. The comfortable beds are all made up with quality percale cotton linen. During the Winter months, the beds are made up with gorgeously luxurious faux rabbit fur throws and cosy hot water bottles to keep you warm at night. There is also a gas heater with a full bottle of gas that should last throughout the entire season.
The first bathroom is fitted with a shower-over-bath, toilet, and basin. The second bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower, toilet, bidet and basin and separate bath and swimming towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully fitted for self-catering and contains a halogen stove top, 2 plate gas hob and undercounter oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery, and crockery. There is a dishwasher and washing machine for your convenience. The living area features a six seater dining table and a desk. There is a separate but open plan TV room with comfortable seating..... a large corner sofa with a 55inch smart TV. Netflix has been provided for your viewing pleasure. Please bring along your own DSTV smart card if you wish to enjoy DSTV watching. Both of the living rooms open out through large sliding doors onto the swimming pool area, which includes an outdoor braai and pizza oven under the covered lapa. There are 2 lovely comfy pool loungers under the large umbrella and an 8 seater outdoor table with benches to enjoy undercover El fresco dining come rain or shine. There are solar and battery backup for lights in the house, back up batteries for alarm, entry gates, and a UPS for Wi-Fi.
Guests will be provided with a small starter pack of complimentary tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt, and pepper. They will also receive a welcome gift pack of biscuits, chocolate, and a bottle of wine. The bathrooms are fitted with small starter bottles of shampoo, body wash, soap, and 2 toilet rolls. There will be a few garbage bags, dishwasher tablets, small bottles of washing-up liquid, hand soap, and a kitchen towel to help guests get started. Please purchase your own supplies once theses are used up. You are provided with more than enough electricity throughout your stay. If excessive use is noticeable, you will be required to top up at your own expense.
