Description
Boknes River Retreat is a spacious self-catering home located in Boknesstrand, offering a comfortable getaway that is ideal for families or groups of friends looking to explore the area.
The house can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms which are all on the ground floor. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and washbasin. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and the third bedroom has a double bed. The fourth bedroom also has a double bed and en suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. This room has a sliding door that leads to the back garden. The third bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and washbasin. Linen and bath towels are provided.
Downstairs is an open plan living area featuring a kitchen equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster, air fryer, kettle, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. A breakfast bar with seating for 6 is available. The separate laundry room includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board, iron, drying rack, refrigerator, and chest freezer. Leading from the kitchen is a sitting lounge with comfortable couches.
Upstairs the house boats with a TV lounge with couches and a Smart TV with DStv and Netflix. There is also an indoor braai area with a dining table with seating for 8, a fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery. This area leads onto a deck with outdoor furniture.
The property boasts a large green garden and the back garden features a vegetable garden which guests are welcome to use. Solar panels provide backup power, and free Wi-Fi is available. Secure parking is provided on-site. Guests can enjoy various activities in the area, including canoeing, cycling, fishing, bush walks, game viewing, golf, and horse riding.
